PSO String Quartet
The Piedmont Symphony Orchestra String Quartet brings elegance, artistry, and versatility to every performance. Comprised of talented musicians from the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, the quartet offers an intimate musical experience that showcases the beauty and depth of the string repertoire.In addition to their performances with the full orchestra, the quartet appears regularly at venues throughout the region, sharing music in more personal and unique settings.
They are also available for a variety of events throughout the season, including weddings, receptions, private gatherings, and community celebrations.With a repertoire that spans classical favorites, light popular selections, and seasonal music, the quartet creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion—refined, engaging, and unforgettable.

Teresa Gordon (Violin)
Teresa serves as the Concertmaster of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, where she brings artistry, leadership, and a deep passion for ensemble playing to every performance. A lifelong violinist, she has performed in numerous chamber and orchestral settings throughout the region and is admired for her expressive musicianship and unwavering dedication to musical excellence. In addition to her performing career, Teresa teaches at Rock Ridge High School in Loudoun, Virginia, where she inspires and mentors young string players, sharing her love of music with the next generation.

Jason Labrador (Violin)
Jason serves as the Associate Concertmaster of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and is an accomplished violinist whose artistry spans both classical and contemporary styles. In addition to his work with the PSO, he operates his own performance business, appearing regularly at private events and venues throughout the greater DC metro area. Jason is widely admired for his expressive musicianship, versatility, as well as his commitment to bringing the beauty of live music to diverse audiences. His performances are marked by both technical mastery and a deep emotional connection that resonates with listeners of all backgrounds.

Chris Tillman (Viola)
Chris serves as the Principal Violist of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. A sought-after collaborator and consummate musician, he enjoys performing as a violinist, violist, and baritone all over Virginia and the greater DC-Metropolitan area, as well as being commissioned as a composer/arranger. Chris especially loves musical theatre. Whether playing in the pit or performing on stage, he’s rarely far from the music he loves.

James Forry (Cello)
James serves as Principal Cellist of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his work with the PSO, he is an active educator, adjudicator, and conductor with the Fredericksburg Youth Symphony Orchestra. James teaches orchestra at Massaponax High School and Thornburg Middle School, where he inspires and mentors young musicians. Known for his expressive musicianship and dedication to music education, he brings both artistry and leadership to every performance.
